Thank you for your interest in PLAYWRIGHTS HORIZONS' spaces. We have two rehearsal studios as well as our 96-seat (convertible to 128-seat) Peter Jay Sharp theater available for rent on a weekly basis (based on limited availability). Hourly rates for the two rehearsal studios are also available upon request.

HOUSE POLICIES Renter must obtain General Liability Insurance while using Playwrights Horizons' spaces. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the building. Food and Drinks are not permitted in the studios or theatres. You may eat and drink in the reception area(s), but all spills must be cleaned thoroughly and all trash must be disposed of in the proper receptacles or a fee will be charged. The consumption of alcoholic beverages or drugs, or working under the influence is strictly forbidden.

Facilities:
Both studios are equipped with: Chairs Folding tables Mirrors Resiliently sprung wooden flooring Air conditioning Locking closet The two studios share a reception area that comes equipped with a refrigerator, desk for reception, couches, and a microwave. Both studios are also appropriate for small staged readings (particularly the larger South studio). Pianos are available at an additional cost.

Weekly rate: $4500/week. Includes PH Technical Supervisor, seasonal sound and lighting equipment packages, House Manager(s), Box Office personnel and service. Also negotiable for day rates.

TECHNICAL
Load in is through the west double glass doors on West 42nd street between 9th and Dyer Avenues. Vehicles can be parked on 42nd street only for loading and unloading. You may be towed or ticketed if you leave a vehicle unattended. ALL material is to be brought in through the double glass door and taken into the elevator.
The Doorway to the elevator is:	4' 0" W x 8' 0" H
The elevator dimensions are:	5' 11" W x 7' 11" D x 9' 4" H (there is a handrail about 3' up that does intrude slightly). There are a few extra inches by the doorway. There is a slot in top/back of the elevator to help fit in longer pieces of pipe and scenery. The slot adds an extra 23" of height and is 2' deep.
The Sharp load-in door is:	5' 6" W x 7' 0" H
Please take extreme care when loading in. Elevator Padding is provided and MUST be used anytime you are bringing Production Material up to the theater. You will be charged for any damage. Screwing into the stage deck is allowed. Lagging and drilling holes in the stage deck may be allowed with permission from the Playwrights Horizons Production Staff. Screwing or lagging into the walls is not allowed. The stage floor can be painted if at the conclusion of your rental it will be returned to it's original color and condition. Painting any of the masonry walls is PROHIBITED under any circumstance. No scenic, properties stocks, equipment nor supplies owned by the Playwrights Horizons other than those specified by this contract will be available unless special arrangement has been made with the Playwrights Horizons' PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT. Approved use of supplies or equipment will be charged at current rates.

Grid	Permanent Grid pipes run upstage downstage. (see grid plan) There are 15 full length upstage and downstage pipes that are movable. Side wall Pipe Grids are usable to attach lights and scenery

Additional Power:	2-100 Amp Three phase Hubble switches on stage.
