Scenic Carpenter

Organizational Summary: 
Playwrights Horizons is a writer's theater dedicated to the support and development of contemporary U.S. playwrights, composers and lyricists, and to the production of their new work.

Reports to: 
Technical Director 

Position Summary: 
Playwrights Horizons is looking for part time over hire carpenters to help build our season. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 
Construction, installation, and operation of scenic elements. 

Requirements: 
Experience in stage carpentry is preferred but we will consider experience in other types of carpentry and construction.

Compensation: 
Pay rate is commensurate to experience, starting at $25/hr.
