2018/19 Flex Pass Handbook
We'll send you an email when your 1-week advanced booking begins — that’s your cue to log in and reserve your seats for that show! Every notification includes essays and information about the show. You can book online by visiting our ticketing site powered by Ticket Central. Because you have a Flex Pass, you receive priority booking ahead of the general public, so be sure to act early to guarantee prime seats. At your request, we’ll hold them at will call for easy pre-show pickup, or you can print them at home.
Please note: As of the current 2017/18 season, Flex Pass packages do not receive bulletins/booking notifications in the mail. If you are unable to receive emails and require notifications by mail, contact our Playwrights offices.
Refill tickets can be purchased in pairs at $55 per ticket with no additional fees. Contact Ticket Central to purchase refill tickets.
Flexibility is just one benefit of having a Flex Pass with us, which is why you can exchange your tickets once per production up to 24 hours before your scheduled performance time. Exchanges cannot be made once your 24-hour window closes. If you can’t use your seats and rescheduling is not an option, please contact us and we can supply a tax-donation letter for your records once the show closes.
We know seeing our plays is a priority for you, but sometimes life gets in the way. If you miss a performance, we’ll get you in to a subsequent performance as space permits. With post-dating, you’ll show up on your selected evening, check in with the company manager, and be given the best seats available just before curtain.
The only thing better than going to the theater is bringing a friend along for the journey. You can use your Flex Pass tickets to bring guests to any show. Are they already season package holders? Contact Ticket Central for assistance booking seats sit with friends.
We’re always happy to have you see our shows again. With a Flex Pass you can see any show a second time for only $20. Your Second Look ticket must be purchased for a performance after the performance date of your initial booking. Contact Ticket Central to book a Second Look ticket. You will be required to present ID to pick up your ticket. You may purchase one Second Look ticket per package, per production.
Bring the Kids
Know a young theater lover? We encourage you to bring them along when you come to our shows. Children and young adults aged 22 or younger can see the show for just $15 with our Bring the Kids discount. Older than 22? We’ve got a great Young Membership for audiences under 35.
It’s important that absolutely anyone can experience our productions. That’s why our theaters are wheelchair-accessible, we offer an open-captioned performance for every Mainstage production, audio description, and assisted listening devices at all performances. If you have any specific seating requests or accessibility concerns, please call us and we’ll take care of you.
We want to be sure you hear about everything happening at Playwrights Horizons, no matter where life may take you. Please make sure that we have your most up-to-date contact information on file throughout the season. If anything is wrong with how your details are listed on your payment confirmation, please contact us so that we can change it in a flash.
Flex Passes receive a range of discounts at local restaurants, hotels, and parking garages just by showing your Playwrights Horizons ID card.
