The turnout for the 2014 midterm elections was the lowest in 70 years, with only 36.4% of eligible voters casting ballots. This year, we want to #PlayOurPart and make sure our audiences are ready to vote.

Throughout the run of I Was Most Alive With You, anyone can register to vote in our lobby at 416 West 42 Street during the hour before showtime. Just fill out the form, and we'll mail it for you.

#PlayOurPart is a national, nonpartisan movement to increase voter participation by registering voters in theater lobbies. In 2016, we partnered with 21 performing arts organizations around the country to offer voter registration to our audiences as a public service. We challenge other theaters to join the movement this fall! If you work at a theater and would like to explore organizing a nonpartisan voter registration event in your lobby space, read on.

I want to register to vote now!

How do I get my  theater involved?
