Playwrights debut. Off-Broadway/Regional: for the Public Theater at the Delacorte: Hercules (a collaboration with Disney Theatrical Group), A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Tempest, The Winter’s Tale, and The Odyssey; Good Person of Szechwan (Obie Award, Drama Desk nomination, Lily Award, Lortel Award for Best Revival) and Romeo and Juliet at The Public; Miss You Like Hell at The Public and La Jolla; Venus at Signature. She was recently named the Artistic Director of New York City Center’s Encores! Series and also serves as Resident Director of The Public where she founded the Public Works program. Other awards: Doris Duke Impact Award, TCG’s Peter Zeisler Award, LMCC’s Presidential Award for Artistic Excellence, and the Meadow’s Prize.
