Robert Karmon

Robert Karmon is an American playwright and screenwriter. Several of his plays have been produced Off-Broadway and in regional theaters. Caliban and Miranda, which was produced at the Clayton State Theater, earned Karmon the Larry Corse Prize for Playwriting in 2004.  He has also been a member of the New York Playwrights Unit and Philadelphia's Society Hill Playhouse.  Karmon's screenwriting credits include scripts for CBS, Columbia pictures, and Eddie Murphy productions. He is currently a professor of English and Creative Writing at Nassau Community College.
