Sheldon Larry

Sheldon Larry is a theatre, film, and television director. He began his career with the British Broadcasting Corporation, working on "Monty Python’s Flying Circus" and films by Tom Stoppard, Sam Shepard and E.A. Whitehead. Later, he moved to New York, where he directed Broadway and Off-Broadway productions.

Larry's theatre credits include Sorrows of Stephen, Sunday Runners in the Rain, Curse of the Starving Class, Candida, Many Faces of Love, and Forty Deuce, for which he earned an Obie Award. His film credits include An American Daughter, which earned him a Golden Globe nomination, Split Images, The First Circle, Leave it On the Floor, and At the End of the Day, which recieved a Gemini Award. His television credits include "Knot's Landing", "Remington Steele", "Home", "Family of Strangers" and "Long Shadows", which recieved an International Emmy award.

In addition to directing, Larry currently lectures part-time at the University of Soutern California. He lives in Los Angeles with his twin daughters.
