Oliver Hailey

Oliver Hailey was a prolific playwright and screenwriter. He wrote over twenty plays, including Who's Happy Now ?, First One Asleep, Whistle, Father's Day, The World and His Wife, and I Won't Dance. His numerous screenwriting credits include "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman," "McMillan and Wife," "Family," and "The Cosby Show." Hailey passed away in 1993 at age sixty from liver cancer. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
