Carl Tiktin is an American playwright and novelist. His plays have been produced at several theaters, including Playwrights Horizons, The Direct Theatre, and The New York Theatre Ensemble. His novels include Somebody's Daughter, Ron, and The Hourglass Man. Tiktin is also an active member of PEN American Center, an organization that works to defend free expression, support persecuted writers, and promote literary culture.
Peter Schneider is an American director and producer. His theatre credits include the West End production of Sister Act, The Breakup Notebook, Norman's Ark, Grand Hotel, and Regina. His Broadway and Off-Broadway producing credits includeThe Marvelous Wonderettes, Aida, and The Lion King, for which he won a Tony Award.
Schneider served as the President of Animation and Chairman of the Studio for the Walt Disney Company until 2001, when he left to create his own production company. During his time at Disney, some of the studio's highest grossing films were released, including "The Little Mermaid", "Aladdin", "Beauty and the Beast", and "The Lion King". Some of his post-Disney credits include the documentaries "We Always Lie To Strangers" and "Waking Sleeping Beauty".
Schneider, a world champion bridge player, currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two daughters.
