David Rush is an American playwright. His plays have been produced by Stage Left, Chicago Dramatists, Mark Taper Forum, Geva, Nebraska Rep, Playwrights Horizons, Organic Theater, among others. He is the recipient of multiple Chicago Jeff awards , the L.A. DramaLogue award for best play, the Dayton FutureFest award for best play, grants from the Illinois Arts Council, and two Midwest Emmy awards. Currently, Rush is a professor of English and Creative Writing at Southern Illinois University.
Edward M. Cohen is an American director and playwright. His directing credits include Teible and Her Demon, Edith Stein, The Cincinnati Saint, Modigliani, Taking Stock, Spinoza, What's Wrong With This Picture?, The Return, The Witch, The Grand Tour, and Beethoven/Karl. Two of his plays, A Fierce Attachment and Cakes with The Wine have been produced Off-Broadway.
