The ideals of the '60s... the realities of the '90s. A reverse generation gap. An avant-garde poet is hurled into a mid-life crisis after catching his college-professor wife in bed with one of her students. As he struggles to regain his footing, he makes some surprising discoveries about his work, his marriage, and his own morals and ethics.
An edgy and original satire, The Monogamist examines art, love, and politics in an age where the rules for each no longer apply.
