Playwrights Horizons recognizes the importance of the well-being of all our audience members, and is committed to sharing information about topics and/or sensory experiences which people may find distressing or inaccessible in advance of attending our productions or events. 

Jerome contains some mature content, themes, and sensory elements including:

  • Strong Language

  • Frequent sexual references and explicit discussions

  • Strobe lighting

  • Theatrical haze/smoke

  • Serious illness and medical treatment

  • References to the HIV/AIDS epidemic and related loss

  • Trauma, anxiety, and depression

  • Depictions of substance use, including alcohol
