LIVE for FIVE Lottery
Entries are no longer being accepted in The LIVEforFIVE Lottery for the first preview of Far From Heaven on Wednesday, May 8th at 8:00pm. Winners will be notified of their status by 3:00pm on Thursday, May 2nd.
The LIVEforFIVE Lottery makes available up to two $5 tickets to the first preview of every production at Playwrights Horizons. Entries may be submitted online in advance of the performance. The LIVEforFIVE Lottery will resume in August for Mr. Burns.
hot tix
HOTtix are rush tickets are available to theatergoers aged 30 and under. We offer a limited number of $25 tickets, subject to availability, starting one hour before showtime beginning at the second performance of each production and continuing through the end of the run. To purchase HOTtix, proof of age is required. Cash only. One ticket, per person, per purchase. (Or better yet: pick up $20 tickets IN ADVANCE through a 30&Under Membership)
Student Rush
Student Rush is not offered. Students wishing to rush PH performances may purchase $25 HOTtix. (Or better yet: pick up $10 tickets IN ADVANCE through a Student Membership)
ACCessibility & SPECIAL NEEDS
Our theaters are wheelchair-accessible. If you have special seating needs, please contact Ticket Central early in the season so that we can help meet your needs throughout the year. In the Mainstage Theater, the wheelchair and companion seats are on the aisles in Row E, and in the Peter Jay Sharp, the wheelchair and companion seats are on the aisles in Row F. Infrared listening systems are available at no charge at every performance and can be checked out from the concessions counter.
Open Captioning
We offer one open-captioned performance per Mainstage production for theatergoers who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Open captioned performances at Playwrights Horizons are supported by The Theodore H. Barth Foundation, Inc. and the Theatre Development Fund's TAP Plus program, in cooperation with the New York State Council on the Arts, and are provided by c2.
