Wearing face masks is now optional*, but encouraged. Thank you for helping us keep everyone at Playwrights Horizons safe.

*Face masks will be required at the following performance dates:

  • Hold Me In the Water
    • Wednesday, April 16, 2025
    • Saturday, April 26, 2025
    • Wednesday, April 30, 2025
    • Saturday, May 3, 2025

We are committed to the health of our artists, audiences, and staff — here's what else we're doing to help keep everyone safe:

  • Our HVAC filters (MERV-13) throughout the building meet the CDC’s guidance
  • E-tickets are available for a touchless experience
  • We will follow guidance from CDC and local guidelines to update these protocols as needed

If you have tested positive for Covid-19, are experiencing symptoms, or had a confirmed exposure to someone who tested positive for Covid-19, please exchange your tickets for another date.

To best protect our artists, audiences, and staff, we ask that anyone who has experienced a confirmed exposure to remain home.
