Playwrights debut. Denise, aka “The Lizzo of the American Theater,” is a New-York City-based actor-vist, comic, and musician. Recent theater: God is A Comedian, a written and self-produced comedic short film (2021), 2021 Drama League-nominated G.O.A.T, world premiere and tour of What to Send Up When It Goes Down, Seven Homeless Mammoths Wander New England (Two River), Rosie (EST's 2019 Marathon of One-Act Plays), the world premiere of “Daddy” (The New Group), The Chronicles of Cardiganand Khente (Soho Rep.), White Girl in Danger (Vineyard workshop), and Whitney White's Three Sisters, plus 60+ readings/workshops of developmental work across the tri-state area.
