Think about:

A space from your past which made you feel very SAFE.
A space you have experienced which made you feel very VULNERABLE.
A time when you have taken refuge — could be from weather or some other situation.

Optional Readings

Read the script of Detroit, the Pulitzer Prize finalist which received its New York premiere at Playwrights in 2012. Not required in advance of the class, but it will be helpful.
