Master Class with Clare Barron

We look forward to seeing you on Monday, May 11 at 7 PM EST for Perspectives On Playwriting: Master Class with Clare Barron.

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to see you on Monday. We're going to start the night by doing a little writing together. Even if you're not a playwright, hate writing haha, have never written a line of dialogue in your life... I ask that you come with an open mind and try your hand at it. It will be very gentle, I promise. And hopefully fun =)

To that end, please have some paper and pens on hand. (I'll be asking you to write by hand.) And have some fun with it. Get some paper that you really like. Something that feels a little luxurious or fun or transgressive to write on. I like writing on envelopes. Or big sketchpads. Or shitty notebooks with shitty paper. And gather some fun pens, too. Colors, different sizes... I love to write with Sharpie. But whatever you have on hand is fine -- even if it's just computer paper and a pencil. Come as you are <3
